Today i went to the adorable little cafe and restaurant, The Pink Cow, in Roppongi where a vegan Meet-up was taking place to celebrate Cinco de Mayo! (:The buffet was 100% vegan and served vegan burritos, salads, cakes and puddings! Click below to read more... The Pink Cow is a restaurant in Roppongi that serves a pretty wide range of dishes with an international theme. Their menu is full of Italian, Mexican and Californian style dishes, meaning there's something for everyone to enjoy here. While they're not 100% vegan, they are the main front-runners when it comes to vegan events, meet-ups and parties and always offer an amazing buffet for something around 3000 Yen. I was shocked by how many people attended this meet-up, it must have been something near 50 or more people and everyone enjoyed getting to know each other and talking about the pros and cons of being vegan in Japan. The entry ticket gets you any drink you want on the menu (and yes that includes Mojitos!) While i was pretty late to the event after a photo-shoot, i still arrived in time to taste the yummy burritos and have some tantalizing cocktails! I would totally recommend downloading the Meet-up app or signing up online for vegans looking to meet new people and make new experiences and memories in Tokyo or other parts of Japan, while they're here.
