*Warning: the cheesy pose to the left :')* This week i was lucky enough to be chosen as a model for a personal training gym in the gorgeous district of Ginza, Toyko. The personal training gym, RiDEAL, offers one-to-one personal training, body conditioning and physiotherapy. They wanted to film me undertaking a personal training session for their website and obviously i jumped at the chance! :) Click below to find out how it went... After arriving at the gym, i met the two main trainers, Hiro and Taka (Both named Takahiro!) Taka is the owner and trainer and Hiro a trainer. Both of them speak fluent English and have experience of living abroad so if you're not that confident in your Japanese, you can have a personal training or physiotherapy session in English! They were also both super helpful and funny. The environment of the gym is so comfortable. It was clean, spacious and had all the equipment needed to workout any section of your body that you want to improve on. And of course you can tell them where you want to focus on so they can give you targeted workouts then and there. I chose to workout my thighs, butt and arms (right, girls?) and started off with 20kg dead lifts which then lead to 30kg squats. Safe to say after about 7 months of mainly doing yoga and a bit of weight-training at home, i was really feeling the burn... But it gave me the push i needed to get back into the weight-training game as there really is nothing like it as far as muscle growth goes. Anyway, thank you for reading this far. I really recommend RiDEAL if you're feeling a bit demotivated or would like to brush up your technique, they are really great at their job and i am looking forward to going back again as i was rewarded 3 free sessions for modelling with them :P See you soon guys!
